#justsaying Who dey watch local Tv stations

Could this ban be related to Kenny St Brown’s recent twitter rant about the  video last week?

what are your thoughts? Right choice or not?

DON JAZZY SCOLDS WANDE??? + RHYTHM’S FM FORMER OAP KEMISTRY: I NEVER DOPED AND WENT ON AIR + JIM IYKE TO SUE OVER PUBLICATION+ 50 CENT GOES BALLISTIC ON TWITTER, GOES OFF & PROMISE TO BE BACK SEPT 6TH

DAN FOSTER RAN ME OUT OF RADIO!

Ex Radio presenter with Rhythm FM and Inspiration Fm, Kemistry Olisaemeka has rebuffed people calling her a crack head and emphasized that the impression led to her leaving Radio and relocating out of Nigeria. The controversial OAP who also delved briefly into music admits that she might have been a little crazy on air but she never doped and went on air to transmit rubbish. Reacting that her former Boss, Dan Foster ran her out, she said…’He ran me off Radio, yes. But not out off town. Since I was no longer on Radio, there was no point in me hanging around becos that was the same reason I came back, to work wit my degree’. She also indicated that her inability to find a good man here in Naija contributed to the decision.

JIM IYKE: I AM GETTING MARRIED SOON.
Jim Iyke has spazzed out on reports (not Qmarkmag) that he has a Sierra leonean Girlfriend that has tested HIV positive. Last week rumors were all over town and the internet that His married Lover has tested positive to the deadly virus,There was also reports of him fathering a white baby boy after pictures of him carrying a white boy surfaced on the internet.
The Nollywood bad boy has come out to deny the reports and have threatened court action against any such publications. He bluntly stated that he has no secret affair with any white woman nor indulge with in multiple affairs as people allege. He however declared that he was getting married soon and was planning something he would rather not disclose to the public yet.

TWITTY CENT!
50 Cent has been talking a lot of bullsh*t on twitter, as soon as he took over his account, He later decided to go off to continue recording his album and has promised to be back September 6th.  Yeah right ..like it’s a movie… check out some of his crazy tweets @50cent.

DON JAZZY SCOLDS WANDE?
Inside sources from the Mo-Hits camp says CEO Don Jazzy was initially not happy that Wande Coal recorded a collabo With Ghanian R&B group R2BEES. Don Jazzy is known for his Exclusivity and has over the years refused to work with artistes outside of Mo-hits, He also ensure that none of his Artiste does the same, Sources claim he scolded Wande for making the song initially but later appreciated it when the video came out owing to the fact that it has eased rebound from the Wande naked picture scandal.

Wande Coal Denies Nude Pictures Exposed Via Twitter.

Wande Coal

Wande Coal just issued a statement informing and denying that the nude pictures f his circulated via Twitter [See Pictures Here] with claims by his record company that ‘Somebody is after him’

Read the statement below:

SOMEBODY IS AFTER WANDE COAL-MOHITS

It has come to our notice that a purported nude picture of Wande Coal is being circulated on social networking site, Twiiter and that made him a trending topic yesterday and early hours of today.

Wande is very grateful to those who have shown him love and as well to those who were constructive in their criticisms. He is saying a massive THANK YOU.

We also want to state categorically that there is nothing wrong or to be ashamed about being naked BUT THE PICTURES IN QUESTION ARE NOT THOSE OF WANDE COAL, the multiple Hip Hop World Award winner. That is not him and that can never be him.

It is worthy of note to let you know that the rising star has been a target of orchestrated attacks in past months. Few months ago false reports of him being treated in a psychiatric home were widely circulated even when he was busy performing in shows in Nigeria and around the world. Later, another report of him slapping a fellow in a club was initiated by some faceless people as well, a report which was false in its entirety. Last year it was also reported that he slapped 9ice during an argument, a report 9ice himself denied. Now, it is a false naked picture that is being used.

We have reason to believe that the person behind these nude pictures is the same person(s) behind earlier negative and false stories. Therefore, we are no longer taking the matter lightly. Appropriate security agencies have been briefed and investigations are on-going so as to ascertain true identity of the culprit and bring him or her to book.

Wande would also like to appeal to his numerous fans to keep calm and assure them that he won’t stop making good music, love them and keep right in all his doings.

Wande Coal’s Naked Picture Trends On Twitter.

Wande Coal Trends On Twitter After Naked Picture Was Exposed. Kai, dude’s pinky slash little man is small o! [yeap i said it!] and as always, oversensitive dudes react. So far Wande coal is yet to say a word but his ‘spokemen’ have spoken, shouted and want all to shut up. Don Jazzy , Mo Hits President said it was photoshopped. The picture got around very quick on twitter and so Wande Coal was a trending topic on Twitter and buddies think It was/is Great Exposure – a good cause like #enoughisenough couldn’t trend and neither did #lightupnigeria 24 hours after the first tweet.

Here are some of the tweets:

Dele Momodu, Presidential aspirant who we think should have kept mum tweeted thus:
@delemomodu2011: As the enemies tried to pull down great son of Nigeria @wandecoal today. I urge all my good friends to pls tweet something great about wande

Someone got pissed.
@bizzleosikoya: Why would u take joy in broadcasting d naked pic of wande, Sme 1 is setting him up and ur helpin out. Dats nt so cool …

The claim that followed was it was photoshopped. Who would believe that?

@DONJAZZYMOHITS said via twitter: Kaiiiiiiii my boy is trending sha. oya make somebody photoshop my own too o. maybe i go trend tooo. lol

The only tweet that really said it, was by @Sheifunmi:

Dear @delemomodu2011,Wande Coal is great, good at what he does and we all agree he is talented, but for artistes claiming haters for every little controversy they get into is not it, talking about haters and evil people pursuing them. We all should own up to our mistakes and circumstances we find ourself in.They should stop fucking random girls then this won’t happen. And to think of it! Shame that as big as mohits is they don’t ve spokes person..Cheers!

UPDATE: Mo Hit Released a statement saying ‘It is not Wande Coal”

The Faults And The Thoughts – Hip Hop World Awards 2010, Nominations

# I hate that after doing his/her job in d studio, an artiste has to come to twitter and facebook to beg for votes. I think it’s demeaning!
# A competent jury is all you truly need. We KNOW that d voting is merely mre revenue for organizers and little else.
# As the HHA voting gets on the way, let me get this off my mind now: I hate all forms of public voting for awards.
Which of the global awards uses ds method in d public space? y r we always d poor cousins? Btw, av u evr sn d result of d votes?
# I dont hold this to be gospel, but I really feel that artistes dont deserve the insult.
# I confess that I have NEVER voted for any artiste for any award.
#  [on wether the artiste should just let his team campaign for his vote] makes no diff to me as d artiste’s name would still be used. Get a competent jury. Give the awards. Get it over and done with.
# [on why Nigerian awards must have a vote center], r we d only ones who do awards? Y isn’t this kinda cheap buzz needed elsewhere? ‘special situation ‘ argument is defeatist.
#we actually have dz die-hard fans : its d reason there’s an industry at all!

Opinion: Nominations for this category was fair enough, the inclusion of P-square was surprising too as their album didn’t receive so much attention from the listening public-conspicuously missing in this category is Banky-W’s the W Experience, but the organisers say the period under review is December 2008-November 2009, which is a faulty timeline to be used.

Album:                                                Art Work

Producer(s): Puffy T, Del B, Austin Beat, Cheefo & Soso Beats

Record Label:                          K.I.P Entertainment

Opinion: This category as its own faults and surprise, on one part is the inclusion of Kefee’s hit single “kokoroko” which is a surprise, but the inclusion of “Alanta” is a fault, this category says song of the year IMAO, Alanta could have passed better for POP song of the year.

RECORDING OF THE YEAR

Best single recording (on-air only or released) by artiste or group in year under review. Originality and production very essential

“STRONG TING”

Album – THE W EXPERIENCE

Record Label – (Unreleased)

“KEEPER OF MY DREAMS”

Album – Lara George

Artiste – Lara George

Producer(s) – Wole Oni

Record Label – Soforte Entertainment

Opinion: At this point I’d tend to think the organisers in one way or another want to please P-square, the I love U track doesn’t strike me like a recording with originality, and please where did Lara George’s single come from, What happened to Darey’s No stars?, Badman by Modenine?, this were original singles that raised the bar in their respective genres.

PRODUCER OF THE YEAR

Artiste – Naeto C

MEX

Music Video Title – “Safe”

Artiste – M.I

Opinion: Did I just see MI’s safe included in this list? NO!! It was nowhere near Video of the Year. Conspicuously missing in this list is Banky-W’s strong thing-I mean- this category isn’t fair.

BEST R ‘N’ B SINGLE

Artiste(s) – Darey Art Alade

Producer – Cobhams Asuquo

“OVERKILLIN”

Artiste(s) – Djinee

Opinion: Now I’m Laughing out Loud, Overkillin by Djinee is an RnB track, Hell NO!! I beg to differ, Why didn’t they consider the various singles by G-xploits- nice RnB group there, yori yori fits in better as an RnB track than Overkillin,it sounded too “hiphopish” that track was too hard!

BEST POP SINGLE

Best pop single in year under review (by single individual or group)

Producer – Paul Okoye

“HOTTER THAN FIRE”

Artiste(s) – Dr. Pat and Sheyman

Opinion: GOOD! Especially the inclusion of Hotter Than Fire, Alanta fits into this category more than its inclusion in the Song of the year category.

Album Title – (Unreleased)

Record Label – X3M Music

PHEROWSHUZ

Song Title – Sample Remix (Featured by Terry Tha Rapman)

Album Title – Boys Are Not Smiling (Unreleased)

Record Label – Megaphunk

Opinion: Modenine’s Badman shouldn’t have made the nominees, and if it did Pherowshuz was featured in the “sample” song and didn’t have more than 20 bars thereabout to show his lyrical dexterity which is not enough to judge. I’d have loved seeing Da-grin win this category with any of his songs say Everyday or Ghetto.

BEST COLLABO

Best R&B, Pop or hip hop collaborative track (including cameos) in year under review

KOKOROKO

Artistes – Kefee Ft. Timaya

AYE PO GAN

Artistes – Ill Bliss Ft. Terry G

Producer – Terry G

SAMPLE Remix

Artistes – Terry Tha Rapman Ft. Stereo Man & Pherowshuz

Opinion: again there are better collaboration in 2009 than Terry tha rapman’s sample, good example is Lami ft Mi, Da grin ft. Omawunmi etc.

BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE (MALE)

The most popular street-hop single in year under review

“FREE MADNESS Pt. 2”

Artiste(s) – Terry G

“IGBORO TI DARU”

Artiste(s) – Klever J Ft. Eedris Abdul Kareem

“FILE BE”

Artiste(s) – Jaywon

“ALANTA”

Artiste(s) – Art Quake

“ONE BY ONE”

Artiste(s) – Side One

Opinion: The phrase free Madness on its own is not a slang. If they had to put Terry G at all cost, they could have nominated, Troway or Sangalo.

NEXT RATED

Most promising upcoming officially unreleased act in the year under review

GENERAL PYPE

Song Title – “CHAMPION”

MO CHEDDAH

Song Title – “IF YOU WANT ME”

JESSE JAGZ

Song Title – “WETIN DEY”

D’PRINCE

Song Title – “OMOBA”

SKUKI

Song Title – “BANGER”

Opinion: This category hurts me a lot. First of all, In no way is Jesse Jagz a next rated act, as he is at the verge of releasing is debut album which was earlier scheduled to be released late last year, Secondly what is Skuki doing on that List, acts like Wizkid, Skales, Vector were completely ignored. Then we have D’Prince, there are several others who should have replaced him [D'Prince].

HIPHOP WORLD REVELATION OF THE YEAR

Best New artiste in the year under review

WANDE COAL

Real Name(s):                         OJOSHIPE WANDE JNR.

Album Title:                            The Investment

OMAWUMI

Real Name(s):                          Omawumi Megbele

Album Title:                            Super Woman

Record Label:                          OMA Records

Opinion: Kel wasn’t a Revelation in 2009, neither was Ill bliss and Djinee was nowhere near being a revelation. Rather Da-grin was a revelation, Banky W was a revelation and so was Terry G.

Overview

Conclusively, since the awards committee have their yard stick for nominations and the deed as been done, we just hope the appropriate acts win in each categories. we would be giving you the list of winning days before they are announced at Eko Exhibition centre in Lagos on May 27th.

P.s. Did you notice that the Reggae/Dance hall album of the year was scrapped on the list? What would be their reason? So no reward for shank, African China Et al.
