d’Supremes have grown into a force to reckon with following up their hit single – Party with a chart topping love ballad 1PM performed by the duo.

The song is Produced by Dr Frabz and it is been made available to fans across just in time before valentine, february 14th. The original has a verse from the rapper of the duo – Lil Tee but this  version is without a rap verse.

The video for this single spent over 7 weeks on MTV Base’s 10 Biggest tracks right now and several other charts.

The duo is making the audio single available for download just in time before the valentine day, February 14th. d’Supremes also wishes every fan a love filled and timeless love celebration this week.

WORLD PREMIERE: Harrysong – Jonzing World.

After an eventful 2010, The singer went back into the studio to finish recording his highly anticipated debut album titled ‘Testify’. Harrysong graced the stage in Calabar for the Calabar Carnival alongside several top musicians after his performance in Port Harcourt. Harrysong left for Port Harcourt then Calabar and returned to base – Lagos to produce and coordinate the recording of the Nigeria Music Video Awards’ Theme song that featured fellow label mate d’Supremes and Justina.

The voice coach, who began taking back up vocals for the likes of Paul Play also spent a large part of last year – writing and producing songs for several fast-rising artistes including actress cum singer Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

The new single scheduled for release, Tomorrow 17th December 2011 is titled ‘Jonzing World’. Produced by Del B. ‘Jonzing world’ is bound to be a party favourite – catchy hook, playful delivery and groovy enough to start any party. The multi-instrumentalist is set for another frenzy with this record after his ‘I’m in love’ ballad.

Days ago, Harrysong’s video for his hit single ‘I’m in love’ climbed to the number 4 position on the French Cable TV, Trace. A feat achieved by very few African artistes. ‘I’m in love’ also made an appearance on cable TV – Channel O Top 10.

Harrysong’s debut album would be released in April, an exact date would be communicated in future.

The weeklong 2010 Felabration tagged ‘Viva Africa’, on Tuesday – its second day, opened withQuestionmark Artists as headlines the day’s concert. By a little after 5pm, the Felabration venue, The New Africa Shrine, Alausa, already had hundreds of guests with different minor bands getting on the stage. However, by 6pm, the bands stopped performing and guests were taken down memory lane with different tracks from the late Afrobeat legend.

The show was officially declared open by 7pm with a mock miming competition of selected Fela songs by five random guests for a prize of Ten thousand naira; how the five contestants fumbled. The highlight of the show was Harrysong’s performance, which got the crowd cheering with joy. His rendition of, the love themed ‘Thinking About You’ alongside Kenyan songstress, Kelmah, got the crowd on their feet as both performers played out their love lyrics. He also got his label mates, D’Supremes, and Ego for a performance of ‘Hold Yuh’ a remake of Gyptian’s number with same title.

Other performers include, D’Supremes, Ego and the Biodun Batik band with comedian Omobaba coming at intervals to throw in jokes before introducing the next act. Omobaba also performed his latest single, ‘Ko Jo’.

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti died on 2 August 1997.

INDEPENDENCE BITES: Questionmark Music Giveaways From Harrysong, d’Supremes & Ego..

…QMark New Guns.

Questionmark Entertainment has been on the scene for over ten years – take a break and making a return about a year ago with the signing of three artistes – d’Supremes – a hiphop duo; Harrysong – songwriter, producer and voice coach and Ego – one time model and singer. The record label gave out six tracks from her artiste free to the online community for the october 1st celebration.  The press release read:

Questionmark Entertainment would want to wish Nigeria and every Nigerian a happy anniversary. There’s a reason to celebrate inspite of all the struggles we still stand as a country.

Let’s look forward to a better Nigeria and reflect on how to play our part – Nigeria is all we have.

D’Supremes is a duo of  Steen Prof, the singer and Lil Tee, the rap artiste signed to Questionmark Entertainment. ‘Their debut album is tentatively titled ‘Who Be Fool’ – Video was directed by 2009 MTV MAMA winning South African based production company – Tough Sunday [same directors of HHP's mpitse video] and The entire video was shot in Nigeria.

Questionmark Entertainment, The record label that serves as home for fast rising acts Harry Song, D’Supremes and Ego shot six videos recently. Harry Song is a voice coach and song writer who has coached and done back up vocals for acts like Omotola Ekeinde, Darey and Paul Play while Ego is a model cum singer who has walk the runaway for Zizi Cardow and several other notable Nigerian fashion designers. d’Supremes are a duo of a rapper – Lil Tee and singer – Steen Prof.

Directed by a seven-man all South African and trained team from Tough Sunday Productions, a South African based video production outfit. Their trip to Nigeria is financed by Questionmark entertainment to shoot videos for hit bound songs like ‘I’m in love’ , ‘DJ put fire’ by Harry Song; ‘Thinking About you‘, ‘Omalicha Nwa’ by Ego and ‘Party’, ‘1PM’ by D’Supremes.

In addition to directing HHP’s Mpitse video that won the best video category at the MTV Music Video Awards last year, The South African video production outfit worked in conjunction with Godfather Productions to produce videos for Nigeria’s biggest music stars from Tuface, P Square amongst others.

Questionmark entertainment would be representatives of the world class production outfit in Nigeria and ” We plan to visit Nigeria every two months for video and commercial AD jobs” Tough Sunday Producer, Dan Odendaal enthused. Speaking on the outfit’s mission, “Some would shoot six videos in a month but we did in 9 days” Dan said. “Is it a good thing? After post production in three weeks, you tell me if it is good” Dan added. The production team equipped with hi-tech equipments, artistes and executive of Questionmark Entertainment spent days shooting into the early hours of the morning while it lasted.

Post production for videos would take three weeks and Premiere on cable Network – MTV Base and Channel O would follow.

Songwriter and performer Harry Song delivers another weighty single, a fitting follow up to his debut ‘Yekelem’ with every intention to keep fans dancing. ‘DJ Put ti fire’ is cut for dance – club or in the bedroom.
