Lady Gaga.
The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards that will be aired live on September 12 is taking place at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles. Lady gaga and Beyonce’s collaborations ‘telephone’ and ‘video phone’ got the highest nomination. The two renowned acts who thrilled the crowd last year might be performing together on stage this year. Lady gaga has dominated this year’s VMA earning 16 nominations (3 of which were collaboration with Beyoncé ‘video phone’). Lady gaga who won the best new act at the 2009 VMA broke record as the most ever nomination for a single artiste in a VMA. Eminem was behind Lady gGaga with 8 nominations from his album ‘recovery’ hit single ‘not afraid’. Others nominees who topped the list were Beyonce, Jayz, Usher. To our surprise, Rihanna who had released most viewed videos like ‘hard’, ‘te amo’, ‘rude boy’ and others managed to get one nomination for best editing ‘rude boy’ which is quite unusual. Taylor Swift who stole the show with Kanye West last year was again nominated in the same category with Beyonce. New acts like Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Jason got their first nomination contending for the best new artiste which will be decided by viewers. Here is the full list of nominees
