According reports, another aspiring actress has gone nude to act get a movie role.

Multiple reports say that a Nollywood movie producer (names withheld) recently released a nude picture of an up and coming actress who is begging him for a role in his movie.

This is coming just days after a 300 level journalism student at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba told an evening newspaper she would pose nude to break into Nollywood.

The Nigeria movie industry has come under heavy criticism lately for alleged immorality and scandals it is filled with.

Actress Uche Jombo who survived an auto crash weeks ago and would be premiering a new movie, Damage in weeks. The graduate of Mathematics and statistics from the University of Calabar and PGD holder in Computer Studies from the University of Minna, Niger State recently described Nollywood as thus:

Sincerely I think it is a group of young film makers trying do movies the way it should be done within the limited resources available to them. The quality of the movies gets better as the resources increase. I feel that as I learn and get more resources, my movies are getting better. I have come a long way since my first production “Nollywood Hustlers” which was produced 2 years ago. You can see the growth it in our 3rd production “Damages”.

Uche, who ventured into the Nigerian movie industry  in 1999 took her first shot at producing when she produced the film ‘Ibinabo’. Since then, she has gone on to produce films such as ‘Nollywood Hustlers’, ‘Holding Hope’ and her latest work ‘Damage’ which deals with the issue of domestic violence in homes. She describes the movie as ‘“Damage” is the first film in what we call the “DAMAGE TRIOLOGY”. The second is film in the trilogy MY LIFE, MY DAMAGE which deals with drugs and HIV AIDS and the last MY COUNTRY, THEIR DAMAGE is about human trafficking.’

Emmanuel Babayaro, a former Nigerian goal keeper was also mentioned. Genevieve also dated Pat Attah, another Nollywood actor before moving up to Shola Akinbo.

Yes in its report also said other men said to have dated Genevieve includes controversial businessman Fred Ajidua, producer of ‘Osofia in London’ Kingsley Ogoro and Charles Warren. Genevieve’s teenage daughter is known as Lily.

J Martins and Fally I

The sensational Congolese singer, Fally Ipupa set the record right at Didier Drogba’s wedding, when he refused to have a solo performance to the remix version of JMartins’ hit track titled Jupa.

Word is Didier Drogba had invited Fally Ipupa to perform the Jupa remix alone which he performed alongside J Martins – a favourite song of the footballer at his marriage ceremony which took place in France weeks ago. Interestingly, Fally Ipupa informed the footballer that he was only featured and if he would want it perform, J Martins had to be invited as well as J Martins is the ‘the original intellectual owner’ of the song. He stood his ground.

Consequent earned J Martins an invitation to perform ar Didier Drogba’s marriage ceremony. Brings to mind the story of the discord between Terry G and Ay.com.

BTW, we hear that The ceremony was officiated by club owner Roman Abramovich, with team-mates Salomon Kalou and Florent Malouda among the groom’s men.
