There was a fracas between fuji music acts – Pasuma and Saheed osupa at the event to celebrate Mushin Day in july where Pasuma remarked that Saheed shouldn’t wait for him on stage after he (Saheed) was done following jealous from a previous event hosted by a fan of both musicians. Ex Radio presenter with Rhythm FM and Inspiration Fm, Kemistry Olisaemeka has rebuffed people calling her a crack head and emphasized that the impression led to her leaving Radio and relocating out of Nigeria. The controversial OAP who also delved briefly into music admits that she might have been a little crazy on air but she never doped and went on air to transmit rubbish. Reacting that her former Boss, Dan Foster ran her out, she said…’He ran me off Radio, yes. But not out off town. Since I was no longer on Radio, there was no point in me hanging around becos that was the same reason I came back, to work wit my degree’. She also indicated that her inability to find a good man here in Naija contributed to the decision.

Wyclef Jean’s name has not been included on a list of approved presidential candidates for his native Haiti. The entertainer-turned-politician sought to run for presidency and announced with much international fanfare. Jean needed to prove that he was a resident of Haiti, one of the requirements for the high office of the embattled land. A list was released today and it included dozens of candidates, but not Jean says news service Reuters. Earlier this week, the mega star had revealed that he was receiving death threats from those that opposed his looming campaign. I don’t know if Clef wants to go there, but there are talks and rumors that the former Fugee is going to take it to the next level. The big buzz coming out of the independent nation in Clef’s camp down in Haiti is that he is going to run for President of Haiti. The elections are Nov. 28th and all candidates have to register by the 7th of Aug. Clef has been fighting for Haiti since the earthquake and before that. He’s still fighting now to make sure they get their share of aid to re-build the nation. He’s got the star power too. He could continue to keep the awareness high.

The Last Queen standing is a game show in which a group of contestants will battle it out for a chance to be the last queen standing. The aim of the game is simple; Each Queen will fight until the final bell, for the chance to win over her king, Mr 2face Idibia. Being the queen to a king like 2face, requires her to keep up! This means hard work, stamina, and the ability to STAY AWAKE. The queens will compete against one another by seeing who can stay awake the longest and be ‘The last queen standing.’ The show will take place in an apartment for duration of 3 days. During this period the contestants will live in isolation and have no contact with the outside world. The only place the contestants can escape from one another is ‘The powder room’ where the contestants can tell us (the audience) their true thoughts. During this time the contestants will also be given missions, in which the winner will receive items to help them stay awake.
