Some of you have probably watched the video of the brutal beating death of the four University of Port Harcourt students – Ugonna, Ilyod, Tekana and Chidiaka, by the indigenes of Aluu community in Port Harcourt.

I have heard too many stories regarding what lead to the death of the boys, and honestly none of the accounts justifies what was done to the boys, young boys. Two of them were cousins. Ugonna and IIyod. Both of them were upcoming rappers. Big L was the winner of a popular Rap Contest show on SilverbirdTV PH called ‘Turb Show’.
The Rivers State commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari tweeted yesterday from her handle (@ibimtoby) “PH government is outraged. The Governor has ordered investigations and already some arrests have been made.”
