What are your full names?
Iyenemi Tyger
Background, where are you from, education?
I’m from Rivers State, Kalabari Buguma city to be precised. My
family is one that believes in prime education, so I started my
education quite early at Bereton Montessori nursery/primary school,
and went further to continue my secondary education at Federal
Government College Ph, graduated with top grades that helped me gain
admission into NIIT where I studied computer sciences and software
development and since then I have continued to gain several
professional certifications.
Tell about your childhood, how was growing up? Tell about your family.
I spent most of my childhood days growing up in Port Harcourt,
growing up was fun and I had a lot of toys to play around with my
favourite at that time was chess, I started playing that at a very
early age. I was also really exposed to tapes and from that age I
started making sounds in my head(laughs).
How did come up with your stage name?
my stage name Boogie man was inspired by my nature for fun and d
humor I put in my music and musical videos
How did music start for you?
music has always been a passion from young, yea it started for me as a passion.
Listen to – ‘Rock ur party’ remix
What’s music to you?
Music to me is soul food, basically a gift grows into an act/art
that’s not just melodious but has varying elements especially that of
strong message or sound for any kind of situation or personal
opinions.
Are you signed to label?
no I’m not signed to a label and still open for management and
partnership as we already have a record label PMG
How did music start for you? What song are you promoting now?
I have a couple of songs out which I already have a video for 1 of
them titled ‘Rock your party’, and I also have songs like Freedom and
the Rock your party re mix out too. Lovely songs.
How did you come up, write and recorded the song?
the songs I make basically don’t sound alike because I believe it
should be a feeling at that point in time, so I wrote and came up Wit
d songs by feeling that way at that time, in my home recording studio.
Future plans for Boogeyman?
future plans a lot of them but most primarily is to release my
debut album, because I have a lot of songs to choose from(laughs).
