The Banky W and Segun Demuren owned Empire Mates Entertainment record label, which is home to in demand singer; Wizkid has announced that the Label’s compilation album will be now be released on Monday June 18, 2012 as against the previously touted June 12 date. However singles would be released on June 12th. Going by the official track list for the Empire Mates State Of Mind Album, it has 20 songs and two hilarious skits featuring Comedian BasketMouth. The album will be available for free download via mobile music platform; Spinlet. Fans of the label will need to have Spinlet’s music application installed on their mobile phones in order to listen to EME’s EMPIRE MATES STATE OF MIND ALBUM. The album will also see EME’s new signings; singer Eniola “Niyola” Akinbo, vocalist Shadrach “Shaydee” Adeboye and disc jockey Dj Xclusive unveiled. Niyola is no stranger to the Nigerian music industry having been around for a fair bit. Shaydee on the other hand is an upcoming artiste. His most notable work so far has been on features. He has songs with rappers Vector, Kel and Pope and was on M.I Abaga’s Illegal Music 2 mixtape. Xclusive is Cool 96.9 FM’s resident DJ where he rules the turntables on shows with veteran OAP; Freeze and fans favorite Kaylah. Niyola, Shaydee and Dj Xclusive join an EME rooster that already boasts of Wizkid, Banky W and Skales.
