Recently, Dolondolo was awarded the best solo performance at the PG awards and he was nominated amongst next rated for the Peak Awards 2011. Presently signed onto his own label, DoloNdolo has a brand new single titled ‘Konko Manamana’ meaning Let’s Dance Hard. Watch out for this “Attitude Nicca”, he is the future.

Dolondolo (formerly called flavour) way back who’s real name is Ebube Robert Eze is a Nigerian born on the 26th July 1987 from the eastern part of Nigeria precisely Enugu state to be precise) and also a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University where he studied computer science. He started music as a young teenager singing with friends at school and on the streets just for fun. He decided to take it professionally in 2007 where he met up with some friends and they created their own record label called ‘Attitude Plus Entertainment’ and he dropped his first single locally titled the same ‘Dolondolo’ (which is his name presently).

Dolondolo is a young, aspiring and very energetic artist who gets this lyrics from the streets and what happens in life generally. He made two great singles – Dolo n Dolo & Higher Hey that disturbed the streets of Lagos Nigeria in 2008. Both had special and distinguished lyrics from most songs heard, across Africa. Although with a unique style of his own, he is inspired by great musicians such as Nigeria’s great Fela Kuti, Tuface Idibia, and foreign acts such as Wyclef jean, Akon and many more. He’s performed on several top Nigerian shows such as The Felabration Allstar Carnival 2008 and 2010, Benin Model Show & Monster Ball Party 2010.
