The six-members band that emerged winners of the 2008 edition of Star Quest reality talent hunt TV show would be replacing the female member of the group, a source close to the group informed QMarkMag. After winning the star quest talent hunt, organizers signed the band to Kennis Music. The band also went home with N2,100,000 prize money, wardrobe allowance, a van and a flat in Ogudu GRA, Lagos.
An album titled ‘Omo naija’ was released under the Kennis Music imprint (a choice made by the organizers) with the lead single – Bosokoto featuring fuji artiste, Obesere. The catch of the band, Jumoke Nwaeze has left the group and has been replaced by the band with a male singer, Source couldn’t disclose why she left the group.
Also sources informed the band has left the contract with Kennis Music. A video has been shot and a release is in the offing.
