Nigerians have taken their anger on Super Eagles player Kaita who kicked [or attempted to] a Greek player in a match in the on going FIFA  2010 World Cup beyond Twitter. Sani Kaita has issued an apology: “It’s a mistake, sorry to be sent off”.

“I apologise to everyone. To the Nigerian people, the officials and my team-mates,” the 24-year-old said after his first-half sending off for violent conduct.

With the Super Eagles leading 1-0 after a Kalu Uche free kick and seemingly in control, Kaita foolishly kicked out at opponent Vassilis Torosidis in the 33rd minute and received his marching orders.

“I accept the red card as a justified decision, I am very disappointed, I hope Argentina can help us out,” Kaita glumly added after missing out on the rest of an entertaining match.

Vincent Enyeama made a difference with fantastic saves in every match the Super Eagles have played and there are speculation that Arsenal is interested in signing the goal keeper.

In related news, Yesterday June 17, Vincent Enyeama became the third most popular trending topic to Twitter and domain name for the goal keeper at www.vincentenyeama.com and www.enyeama.com has been registered. Before yesterday, the Nigerian Number one football goal keeper did not have a domain name, except for a Wikipedia page. Sani Kaita also has a new Wiki Page.
